Description

Bylaws & Standing Rules
|
Receives suggestions for amendments or proposed amendments to the Ohio Division Bylaws & Standing Rules, prepares them in the proper format and submits for action by the membership. Furnishes an updated copy of the Ohio Division Bylaws & Standing Rules to all members. Submits amendments to the International Bylaws Committee for review and approval.

Certification
|
Promotes interest in the certification programs, including organizing, conducting, and promoting study sessions.
|
Education / Program / Image
|
Provides assistance to Ohio Division Chapters to implement and promote programs to enhance the image of the administrative professional; to encourage member involvement in areas that affect the administrative professional occupation; and to acknowledge administrative professional achievement during Administrative Professionals Week.

Finance
|
Responsible for implementing and promoting programs with Board approval and assist the Division in underwriting the cost of special projects.
|
Leadership Seminar
|
|
|
Local Area Network
|
Coordinates period meetings with chapters in a specific area of the state to promote networking and problem solving.
|
|
Membership
|
Provides assistance to chapters in retaining and increasing membership.
|
New Chapter Builder
|
Serves as a clearinghouse of information on potential new chapters and contacts for anyone in the division interested in building a new chapter.
|
Nominating
|
Submits to the membership, a slate of one or more candidates for each
office on the Board of Directors, except the office of President. The
slate includes each candidate's IAAP background.

ODAM 2010
|
Coordinates arrangements for the Ohio Division Annual Meeting in conjunction with the division board.
|
|
Past Presidents' Scholarship
|
Selects recipients for scholarships with money raised through fundraising, to the extent that funds are available. The committee shall be comprised of past presidents of the Ohio Division.
|
Retirement Trust Foundation
|
Promotes interest in the IAAP Retirement Trust Foundation. |
Statewide LAN
|
Arranges an educational program for all division members.
|
Student Chapters / Services
|
Develops and encourages student activities within the division, serves as a resource for chapters establishing new chapters and promotes scholarship awards.
|
| Webmaster |
Maintains the division website and assists chapters in developing their websites as time and experience permits. |
