Nominations
Serving as an Ohio Division Officer takes dedication, commitment, leadership, and a great love for IAAP
®
, but being a Division Officer is also fun. The friendships made will last a lifetime, and the opportunities that result will be immeasurable. For the individual who aspires to a leadership role, serving as a Division Officer is a challenge and experience that should be embraced with enthusiasm.
Interested in Serving on the Ohio Division Board of Directors?
If you can answer YES to these questions, you can be a candidate for office in the Ohio Division:
Have you been a regular member of the Ohio Division for two years?
Have you been a Chapter Officer or Chairman of a Division or International Committee?
Are you actively employed in the administrative profession?
Candidates should know that the basic duties an officer is required to fulfill would be to:
Attend at least four Board Meetings during the year.
Visit chapters as their Board Contact when requested.
Correspond with the Board, Chapter Officers & Division Committee Members.
An officer must also:
Be willing and able to participate in IAAP activities at all levels of the Association.
Be aware of personal unreimbursed expenses that might occur as a Division Officer.
Have the support of your employer, spouse and/or family in fulfilling Division duties.
Be willing to devote the necessary time and effort for maximum performance of the duties as an officer of Ohio Division.
Candidates must complete the
Nomination Form for Division Office
. The completed form must be submitted to the Ohio Division Nominating Committee by March 1, 2010. Elections for Division Officers are held at the Ohio Division Annual Meeting in June.

if you would like to be nominated from the floor at EFAM as a candidate for International Officer or RTF Trustee.
Application information
for consideration for appointment to the International Bylaws and Standing Rules Committee, the International Committee on Nominations, or the Retirement Trust Foundation Committee.
